Comedians and Oscars, Oscars and Comedians man!

They just don't mix do they? Well, apart from throwing in Chris Rock to host an Oscars ceremony, they just bounce off of one another. Like bowling balls going...

See, that's the reason there would never be a comedy movie that's nominated for Best Motion Picture.
And it's also why you'll never see a fricken comedian talking about the Oscar ceremonies... Cause they're ... you know just plain ass boring.

Well, I get the comedians.
What I don't get is those folks in the academy going "let's not nominate any funny shit ever".

I mean WTF !?

They laugh too, right ? Right ?
I mean they can't be THAT much of a sad bunch of old people.
Just cause it's funny don't mean it ain't good or anything.
Really now, how spiteful can you get!?

Seriously, did they put up a bunch of movies on the wall and like throw darts in the dark for the nominations?
You know it actually makes sense, "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button " has such a long ass name so proportionally it gets 13 nominations. :dropjaw:
13 nominations !? Holly Crap! The movie was good but not THAT good.

And then you have "Slumdog Millionaire" with 10 , "Milk" & "Dark Knight" with 8, "Frost/Nixon", "The Reader" and "Doubt" all with five nominations each.

You're looking at the categories going "spot the differences" and they're like - none whatSoFrickenEver !

My favorite movie this year got just one nomination and I'm like FU!
C'mon In Bruges deserved more, a lot more, but since it has comedy in the genre it gets fricken scrapped.

And now there's the thing all Americans are getting fricken pissed off about : the damn "Dark Knight" .

Why didn't it get a nomination for best Motion Picture .
Why didn't it get a nomination for best Male Lead Actor .
Why didn't it get a fricken nomination for the next best thing after, I don't know, water ?!

Well I'll tell you why : CAUSE IT WASN'T THAT F&^$G GREAT!

And I'm not saying it was bad, (No sir, I don't wanna get lynched) but it sure as hell wasn't that great either.
It was an OK movie and FYI they don't just go giving away nominations to OK movies.
They just don't, OK.

And Americans are now like, signing petitions, casts and bowling balls that Heath Ledger should get an Oscar.

You don't get to make that call!
It's not that he shouldn't get that Oscar or anything, actually he should, he's that good.
But would you pleeeease stop dragging the hole movie along with him?
I'm sure he's in heaven and everything but he ain't God.
C'mon even Big Guy upstairs can't cover up those big gaping plot holes.

Anyway, it's not just the Oscars that's pissing me off.
The comedians do too, you know.
Comedy Central had that Stand-up Showdown last night - top 20 comedians and all that crap, and ... you guessed it!
The guy I was rooting for didn't win .
Damn !
